Quality Assurance Manager
As Bactolac’s Quality Assurance Manager, Vanessa is responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of internal policies and procedures that ensure the manufacture of quality products that meet customer specifications and federal regulations (21 CFR 111:Current Good Manufacturing Practice in Manufacturing, Packaging, Labeling, or Holding Operations for Dietary Supplements). She joined the Quality Control Department in 2000 as a quality control chemist and also served as QC Lab Manager and QC Manager, prior to being named QA Manager in 2006. Vanessa holds two degrees: a BS in forensic toxicology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where she graduated magna cum laude, and a BA in psychology from Stony Brook University.
